List Editor - Multi-property Text List

You use a Multi-property Text list to set the value for multiple secondary properties based on the selected list value for a primary property. The List Editor enables you to manage the primary and secondary values for each row in the list.

After creating a Multi-property Text list, you assign the list to multiple properties in the iPropWiz configuration editor.

You can sort the list by clicking the header of the Order, Value, Description, or any of the Secondary Value columns. Click a second time to reverse the sort order. You can reorder items in the list by using a common drag and drop workflow. See the Drag and Drop in Grids page for more information.




 


 

Primary Value

Enter a fixed text value for this primary value or click the Expression Editor button to build a property expression.

Expression Editor

Click the button to build a property expression for this primary value. See the Expressions In Lists page for more information.

 

Note: If you access the Expression Editor from the List Editor, the Property Extraction Rule editor is not available.

 

Description

Optionally add a description for this value. The description will be shown in the iPropWiz Property Editor if the Show Description check box is checked.

See the Multi-property Lists page for more information on managing secondary values and assigning secondary values to Inventor iProperties.

Insertion  Row

Enter new value and description information here. Press Enter to add the new row to the list. You must fill in a unique value, the description field can be left blank.

 

 

Note: List additions and edits are saved to disk when you save the current configuration from the iPropWiz Configuration Editor.
