You use the Configuration Editor to manage property sets and rules for an iPropWiz configuration. You can create any number of configurations. For example, you could create a configuration specific to a customer or project. Your users then activate a configuration in the iPropWiz Property Editor and use the rules you set in the configuration to guide them in efficiently entering property values.
Ribbon Access: Add-Ins tab > iPropWiz panel > Configuration Editor
An iPropWiz configuration contains the following:
A separate set of properties for each Inventor document type (part, sheet metal part, assembly, weldment, drawing, and presentation).
Settings to control property formatting, property access, spell checking, and other specific rules.
Rules for formatting custom properties generated by exported parameters and exported physical properties.
Optionally, one or more lists that are limited to use for properties in this configuration or for properties in all configurations.

iProperty Browser |

iProperties in the current Inventor document are displayed in the iProperty Browser. iProperties that you have added to the Property Grid are removed from the iProperty Browser. See the iProperty Browser page for more information. |

The Property Grid displays all iProperties for the current iPropWiz configuration and Inventor document type. You manage all settings for individual properties here. See the Property Grid page for more information. |
