General enhancements:

The iPropWiz user interface is updated with the same UI controls as Autodesk Inventor.

All forms and dialogs support hight DPI monitors and text scaling.

Spell checking is available at text entry points in iPropWiz. This includes the iPropWiz Configuration Editor, List Editor, and the iPropWiz Property Editor.

A greatly enhanced Help system. F1 help is expanded to provide a direct link to detailed help for your current task. The default help for iPropWiz is now web based. A local help file is available for download.

Standardized drag and drop process to reorder grid rows in list, property, and other grids. See the Drag and Drop in Grids page for more information.

Licensing enhancements:

A single license key for all locally licensed users. All local licenses for company are now tied to a single license key to eliminate confusion with multiple licenses keys.

Improved floating license server. The maximum number of concurrent licenses is now easily updated.

Subscription based licensing. New lower pricing for new licenses includes a one year subscription, with easy to manage yearly subscription renewals. iPropWiz will be updated yearly to ensure it works seamlessly with iProperty enhancements in the latest version of Autodesk Inventor.

Configuration editor enhancements:

Improve feedback on individual property state. Fields that are not applicable to the property are left blank.

Multi-level spell check control. The active iPropWiz configuration can have spell checking ON or OFF. If ON, each text based Autodesk Inventor property can be included or excluded from spell checking in the iPropWiz Property Editor ( PE ).

Locked property value. This property option makes the property value read-only in the PE.

iLogic rule triggers. You can add references to any number of iLogic rules to an iPropWiz configuration. The rules can be internal or external rules and are run each time iPropWiz completes an update of property values in the selected Autodesk Inventor documents. You can chose which document types each iLogic rule will affect, and define the scope of documents that are considered for each iLogic rule. This enables you to "customize" the tasks that are performed by iPropWiz.

Spell checking. Spell checking for text values entered in iPropWiz. The custom dictionary used in Autodesk Inventor spell checking is automatically included if it is the default installation location, otherwise iPropWiz will assign its own custom dictionary. An iPropWiz administrator can grant permissions for users to change dictionaries and edit custom dictionaries. iPropWiz ships with English-US, and German-DE dictionaries, other dictionaries are available for download.

Disable Autodesk Inventor iProperties dialog. A new option to ensure property management occurs only through the iPropWiz Property Editor. Use with caution.

 List enhancements:

New List type: Multi-value Text list

A variation of the Simple value/description list, the Multi-value Text list enables users to select multiple values from the list for inclusion in the property value. You can specify the separator character between items and control the use of space characters in the value assigned to the Autodesk Inventor iProperty.

Multi-level Tree lists now support search in the iPropWiz Property Editor.

Improved importing of list data from Excel. The import of list data from an Excel file now uses small third party libraries in place of previous versions reliance on Microsoft Excel. The example file for formatting your Excel file for import is greatly enhanced.

Property editor enhancements:

The iPropWiz Property Editor ( PE ) returns to a separate dialog that can be open as you work in Autodesk Inventor. This change provides for more predictable and flexible keyboard navigation when entering property values, and eliminates keyboard entry competition between iPropWiz and Autodesk Inventor.

You can optionally dock the PE to the left or right edge of the Autodesk Inventor window. The PE then moves with the Autodesk Inventor window and resizes to match the height of the Autodesk Inventor window.

Enhanced feedback on property state. Error and information glyphs provide enhanced feedback on the state of property value. Move the mouser cursor over the glyph to view the message.

Improved Date editor. A new date selection calendar makes it easier to browse for and select a date.

Spell check for property values. If a property is included for spell checking in the active iPropWiz configuration, text entry is spell checked as you type. You can add words to a custom dictionary,

Required column visibility. You can now hide the Required column in the PE. A feedback icon in the Value cell will indicate if a required property value is missing. The property grid can now be reduced to showing only the Property (name) and Value columns.

Part selection toggle. The PE tool bar contains a toggle button to quickly activate / deactivate Part Selection Priority in Autodesk Inventor assembly and drawing documents.

Export model extents on save. You now have options in the PE to disable model extents updates for both part and assembly models. If either of the updates is ON, you can temporarily override the updates with a toggle on the PE toolbar

Quick Access Toolbar command. An iPropWiz configuration option controls if the iPropWiz Property Editor command is automatically added to the Autodesk Inventor QAT. If the command is not automatically added to the QAT, users can use Autodesk Inventor's Command Customization tools to restore it to the QAT.

The Property column in the PE displays the alias assigned to the property in the iPropWiz Configuration Editor. A tool tip now shows the actual name of the Autodesk Inventor iProperty.

All property types now support the Restore value option. Prior to updating, you can restore the value of a single property from the Value cell context menu.
