In the iPropWiz Configuration Editor the iProperty Browser displays all iProperties that are available to be added to the current property set, including Custom iProperties. The iProperty Browser is populated from the properties in the active Autodesk Inventor document. The node icons indicate the data type of the property.
Note: It is highly recommended that you create and manage your iPropWiz configurations using the appropriate template file. For example, to set up the properties for your part documents, open your part template file or a part document created from the template before activating the iPropWiz Configuration Editor. |

Expand/Collapse Button |

Click the button to collapse or expand the iProperty Browser. Optionally, double-click the Properties title bar to collapse or expand the iProperty Browser. |
Property Set Node |

Check the Property Set node to select all remaining iProperties in the property set. Optionally, double-click the Property Set name to immediately add all remaining iProperties in the property set to the current iPropWiz property set in the Property Grid. |
Property Node |

Check the Property node to select it. Uncheck the node to remove it from the current selection. Optionally, double-click the Property name to immediately add the iProperty to the current iPropWiz property set in the Property Grid. |
Selected Node |
|
Checked nodes are selected nodes. You can select multiple iProperty nodes from different Property Sets before adding the selected properties to the active iPropWiz property set in the Property Grid. |

iProperty Browser Context Menu
The right-click context menu for the iProperty Browser is shown in the following image.

Delete property |
Delete the selected custom property from the active Autodesk Inventor document.

Manage custom properties ( New! ) |
Opens a grid based dialog to enable you to managed custom properties in the active Autodesk Inventor document. See the Manage custom properties page for more information.

Add missing custom properties |
If any of the custom properties in the Property Grid are not in the active Autodesk Inventor document, A confirmation of the added properties is shown on completion.

Add exported properties |
All active exported physical properties in the current iPropWiz configuration are added to the current Autodesk Inventor document. This enables you to use these properties when defining property expressions.

Notes: Properties that are added to the Property Grid are removed from the iProperty Browser. Properties removed from the Property Grid are restored in the iProperty Browser.
It is highly recommended that you open an appropriate template document before creating the iPropWiz Property Set for that document type (e.g. Part). This is especially important if you want to create property expressions that drive property values.
Once a property is added to the property grid, there is no link maintained with the current document. |
