Configuration Editor - Options

iPropWiz works with Autodesk Inventor's material assets in two areas.

Create a Multi-property Material list: The list enables you to assign values to multiple properties in a part, based on the current material assigned to the part. You select from available materials to create rows in the list.

Change part material: The iPropWiz Property Editor includes a drop-down list of materials when editing properties for a selection of parts.

Note: Currently, you cannot edit the material library in effect for a specific configuration. iPropWiz uses the active Inventor materials library.

Tip: Use the Autodesk Inventor Material Browser to create your own Asset Library. You can create sub-sets of the materials included in the Autodesk or Inventor material libraries, and you can define new materials.
