Configuration Editor - Options

You set options that are common to all iPropWiz configurations in this tab of the Options group. These settings apply to all configurations and are stored in a separate file in your iPropWiz configurations folder.

Copy / Paste property values

These two settings control how iProperty values and expressions can be copied and pasted between Inventor documents using the iPropWiz Copy and iPropWiz Paste tools available on many Autodesk Inventor context menus.

Paste values to any document type: When checked, users can copy properties from one document type (e.g. a part), and paste the selected values into any document type (e.g. a drawing) If unchecked, the copied property values can only be pasted into the same document type.

Allow property expression copy/paste: If checked, users will be able to select either the property value or property expression when copying text based properties. If unchecked, the property value only is copied.

iPropWiz Property Editor access

Access to the iPropWiz Property Editor has always included a permanent icon on the Autodesk Inventor Quick Access Toolbar ( QAT ). In iPropWiz 7 this is now optional. Uncheck this setting to stop the automatic addition of the icon to the QAT. When unchecked you are able to add the iPropWiz Property Editor to the QAT using Autodesk Inventor's UI customization tools. The default value for this setting is checked.

	Alternate row color
	Click the color swatch to set the alternate grid row color for the property grid in the iPropWiz Configuration Editor, List Editor, and other grids accessed from the configuration editor. The alternate row color in the iPropWiz Property Editor is controlled from the iPropWiz Property Editor Options dialog.
