Time Stamp

   Time Stamp is an Autodesk® Inventor® add-in that provides:

• A low cost, simple to use tool that adds plot time information to your prints.
• A plot stamp that does not dirty the Inventor drawing document.

Using Time Stamp

  Time Stamp can be started from the Add-Ins tab or Quick Access toolbar in an Inventor drawing file. The Time Stamp editor includes tools to:

• Position the stamp relative to any sheet corner. The text orientation is previewed in the stamp location area.
  
  



• Precisely position the stamp from the two adjacent sheet edges. The offset units automatically adjust to match the document units.
  
  



• Define a text height for the stamp text (1.5-12mm / .04-.50in)
  
  



• Include optional information. The plot date is always included. Optionally, you can include the time, and/or the current user name. All information is added to a single line stamp.
  
  

The time stamp is immediately visible when Inventor's print command is activated. If the stamp position requires adjustment, just cancel the print and update the offset and text height as required. Time Stamp works well in Vault environments since the stamp is included without dirtying the drawing document.
